Jill is a fine artist and graphic designer living and working in Grand Rapids, MI. She received her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, where she studied painting and graphic design.

 

She has spent her career as a graphic designer and also an abstract painter.

 

The principals of design have influenced her color abstract paintings as she finds similarities in both disciplines.

 

Jill is an intuitive painter and enjoys the immediacy of the process. It is just as valuable to her as the end result. The juxtaposition of color, movement, depth and composition all inform her painting practice.
