I am a freelance abstract painter, specializing in commissions for personal or corporate spaces.
My paintings have been commissioned for businesses across the U.S., including Florida, Colorado, Texas, Wyoming, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Michigan. I work directly with the client on style, color palette, and size. I also have participated in several art fairs and pop-up shops, and have worked with West Elm in KC to showcase my paintings in their store.
I was born and raised in Michigan, and was trained at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, with a BFA in illustration with a concentration on Graphic Design and Painting. I came to Kansas City for a job with Hallmark Cards, and I fell in love with KC, but my heart always belonged in my home state. I recently made the decision to move back to Michigan, to be near my family, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
When I’m not at my day job designing, I spend most of my free time in my studio, painting at the most odd hours imaginable and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
